Borrowed the book yesterday from the library and could not put it down! I am thorough dazzled by this mysterious and absorbing world. All senses are stimulated.
I did not know Abyssinia is an old term for Ethiopia.
Not only is the story fascinating, but I find several puzzling points about the author herself and her temperament.
