A Clash of Kings (10/31)

It is too late. I've been doing hardly anything but drinking the irresistible magic juice, being poured into my ears for hours every day.

I am a little embarrassed to admit --- among the half a dozen major strands GRRM has laid out so far, the segment that fascinates me the most is the bloodless but deadly court drama. Oh, all the conspiracies, schemes, back-stabbing, double-crossing, alliances and betrayals, all done with a smile over a goblet of fine wine. I hate politics in real life, yet I cannot get enough of it in A Clash of Kings. What does that say about me?
